Overview

All courses consist of 2 parts:

Part 1 is an Online Training Session that you may complete at your convenience, all at once or over several sessions.
Part 2 is an In-Class Skill Session at one of our facilities.

Class Descriptions

To insure proper class enrollment (Community or Pro), please confirm with requesting entity as to the type of “certification” needed prior to sign up.

CPR & AED for the Community & Workplace $30.00

CPR & AED for the Community & Workplace is open for the workplace & the general public. This class provides on-line learning, with a practical skills and exam session in our office (approx. 1 hour). It meets both knowledge and skill objectives for learners. This course teaches basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide CPR in an emergency situation. Besides basic CPR, this class also teaches the use of AED as part of emergency cardiac care. You will receive a two year certification card upon completion of the course.

CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) for the Professional Rescuer $30

The CPR for the Professional Rescuer is intended for healthcare providers, emergency medical responders, professional rescuers and healthcare students. The course is designed to teach how to perform resuscitation of patients of all ages who are victims of sudden cardiac arrest as well as those who are unresponsive or choking.

Combined Classes

First Aid – Not available as a single class

You should always take First Aid with the CPR class unless you know that it is not needed. First aid cannot be taken separately at a later date

First Aid is open for the workplace & the general public. This class provides on-line learning, with a practical skills and exam session in our office. It meets both knowledge and skill objectives for learners. Once an injury or a sudden illness has occurred, providing effective first aid can make the difference between life and death; rapid versus prolonged recovery and temporary versus permanent disability. This First Aid program focuses on what you must know to provide confident, effective first aid care. You will receive a three year certification card for Basic First Aid upon completion of the course.

CPR & AED for the Community & Workplace AND First Aid $55.00

(Combined Skill Session approximately 1.5 hours)

CPR Pro/BLS & First Aid - $55.00

This course combines CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) for the Professional Rescuer and Basic First Aid. The Basic First Aid portion focuses on providing confident, effective first aid care.

Please make sure you can attend the date and time selected for your Skill Session. Skill Session date may be changed one time without incurring a fee. Any additional skill session date change is assessed a $10.00 fee. Cancellations and date change requests must be given 24 hours before class. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR CLASS YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $10.00 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE.

In order for the class to be successful, all students MUST arrive on time or before class time. If you are 10 minutes or more late you will NOT be able to participate in scheduled class. (Cancellations and rescheduling due to tardiness will be subjected to fees listed above.) Due to variations in skill and class size, class times may potentially end 15 minutes early or late. Please plan accordingly.
